JOB SUMMARY
JOB PURPOSE: The Documentation Associate is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and managing the project beneficiaries’ database and documents in compliance with Islamic Relief (IR) standard requirements, Program Management Act, Municipal policies, and procedures.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Track projects documentation: Monitor both electronic and paper-based project documentation according to policies and procedures.
- Prepare data for entry: Compile and sort information, establish entry priorities, and process project documents.
- Enter beneficiaries’ data: Organize and input beneficiaries’ data into Excel, ensuring accuracy and adherence to data program techniques and procedures.
- Maintain data entry requirements: Follow data program techniques and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
- Secure information: Complete database backups to safeguard information and documents.
- Follow policies and procedures: Maintain operations by adhering to organizational policies and procedures and report any needed changes.
- Promote Data Protection and information security: Produce and present information to raise awareness among departmental employees.
- Produce information and statistics: Generate data, statistics, and analysis for reporting purposes.
- Contribute to team effort: Accomplish related results and support team goals as needed.
- Other responsibilities: Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager.
Personal Specification
Experience / Education / Skills- Essential
- Degree in informatics engineering from an accredited University.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in information and data management and analysis.

- Effective multitasking skills, professionalism, and confidence.
- Ability to work under pressure and in risky situations.
- Ability to travel to Syria and Turkey.

- Arabic (mother tongue)
- Advanced proficiency in English (reading and writing)
IT Skills
- Excellent computer skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and software necessary for information management and reporting (Power Bi, Kobo Toolbox).
